The Tennessee Transit Training Center, sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Transportation, offers individualized and specific training programs. The center houses the Rural Transit Assistance Program (RTAP), the Urban Transit Assistance Program (UTAP), and the Tennessee Department of Transportation Statewide Transit Student Internship Program.

Located on the campus of Middle Tennessee State University, the Tennessee Transit Training Center has a variety of training materials for public transporation drivers. Training modules, manuals, books, and videos are available for duplication or check-out. See Training Materials for listings of our holdings and request forms.

Throughout the year, we sponsor workshops and training sessions on a variety of topics. These sessions are held in different locations. Please see the Workshop Schedule for our latest offerings.
