Nontraditional Student Week -- Nov. 7-11, 2011
Nontraditional Student Week Potluck Dinner -- Nov. 10, 2011, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
We celebrate National Nontraditional Student Week the first full week of November each year. OWLs and Pinnacle Honor Society provide turkey and ham and members bring a salad, veggie, or dessert to accompany the meal. Families are welcome at this event. A speaker provides a short inspirational talk and new members of the Pinnacle Honor Society are presented their certificates and pins. A few awards may also be given at this event.

Adult Learning Conference on campus -- Feb. 16-17, 2012
SGA funding provides the funds for MTSU students to attend this conference For more details about the conference itself and to register to attend, go to the Adult Learning Conference website.
ANTSHE Conference at Eastern Kentucky -- March 23-25, 2012
The Association of NonTraditional Students in Higher Education (ANTSHE) hosts a national conference each spring. If you are interested this conference to see what is going on with nontraditional students across the nation, contact the officers at owls@mtsu.edu.
OWLs and Pinnacle Picnic -- Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Barfield Crescent Park, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
This is our annual end of the year picnic when we initiate new members to the Pinnacle Honor Society and we present awards to outstanding OWLs members and those who support them in their success.
We provide barbecue and chicken. You bring a side dish or dessert to feed 8-10 people and a big bottle of water, tea, or your favorite carbonated beverage to share.
Barfield-Crescent Park, Shelter # 1 -- Directions: From campus, go out Middle Tennessee Blvd to the intersection with Church St. (Highway 231) and turn left. Continue over I-24 and out through 4 or 5 lights until you come to Barfield-Crescent Blvd and turn right. The park entrance is approximately 2 blocks on the left. Continue around following the signs that lead to Shelter # 1.
